2020 M1 MacBook Pro 13” Clock Speed

I was unable to find the clock speed for the new M1 processor on Apple’s website. All I see is "8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores," and nothing about clock speed. Has Apple released this information yet?

I expected a rating in GHz. Is that a typo? Or a "normalization" to other baseline? I already asked on Amazon (got no answer) and searched similar 16GB models, but can't find the CPU speed listed in GHz. Also note that searching for the 8 GB model shows the correct speed rating (3.2GHz). Not so for the 16GB one. Thanks.

M1 Clock Speed (Revisited) In another thread, rylandgoldman responded: The M1 chip has a clock speed of 3.2 GHz. It has an 8 core CPU and 7-8 core GPU. According to Apple, it is 3.5x faster than a quad-core 1.2 GHz Intel Core i7 processor. I'm wondering if this is a typographical error, as I would definitely expect a 3.2 GHz 8 core processor to be faster than a 1.2 GHz 4 core processor. Thank you. --jm
