i am not prompted on any of my other devices to confirm! Also i dont understand why i am asked to confirm this even, i never turned this service on! Even if i did somehow, how do i turn it off? Thanks in advance

It sounds like you are being prompted to update your Apple ID settings. Let's have you try the following steps:
Update to the latest software versions on all of your active Apple devices.
Then check every Apple device you own for approval notifications and then complete any, if shown.
Verify that all of the Apple devices have passcodes set and then try again.
Also make sure that you are signed into iCloud on each Apple device that you own.
