M1 Macbook thoughts on Logic Pro?

Any thoughts on whether to go for M1 Macbook Air with fanless (silent) design or M1 Macbook Pro?

I really like the idea of a completely silent laptop but don't want to run out of resources...

I work with small track numbers (>20) and not huge dependence on virtual instruments i.e. mostly audio tracks but occasional piano vst, guitar amp sim vsts, virual drums, vst effects etc.

Is the 2019 1.4ghz MacBook Pro suitable for music recording? Hi I’m hoping someone can help I am looking to purchase a MacBook Pro for music recording I have read that the 1.4 GHZ baseline MacBook Pro is a great performer despite the low Clock speed especially in regards to video and photo editing. However I have read that for applications such as music recording the clock speed is incredibly important and more important than the number of cores, as this impacts real-time applications. many reviews suggest the baseline MacBook Pro performs much much better than one would expect from a 1.4 GHZ clock speed but I don’t know if this also applies to music recording applications. One important factor for recording is that the fans remain as quiet as possible. It seems that The lower the clock speed and the faster the fans will kick in and the laptop will kick into turbo charge mode. Can someone advise whether the baseline model would deal with music applications well without the fans having to kick in for medium level recording applications. Or would it be better to go for an older model with a higher clock speed and less cores? Or does this MacBook defy the seeming normal logic in regards to music recording and clock speed. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Sound 'quality' on my Macbook Pro M1 The sound of my new M1 is absolutely hideous. Way too much low end, it is really unbearable. I understand that this in native for the M1 so I installed eqMac and dialed it in like this (see pic). Now it sounds good but I love to see Apple fix this - or at least give us a native eq if they have to show off the low end capability of the M1.
