Deleting Big Sur installation download

I don't have room for Big Sur, and don't want to spend time now deleting items to


make room.  How then do i delete its 12 gig download?

i know now. you just search for it


and find the icon. check it by get info


and then trash it. brilliant.

to look for an installer in applications.
