Can iPhone MagSafe charger be used to charge Apple Watch series 6

Can MagSafe charger that is recommended for iPhone 12 when connected to 20w apple power adapter be used to safely charge Apple Watch Series 6? Or iPhone MagSafe charger will deliver excessive power to Apple Watch and damage it?

Apple Watch MagSafe looks much smaller as compared to iPhone MagSafe. So I think due to being oversize iPhone MagSafe may not work with Apple Watch but technically I think it can magnetically attach to Apple Watch series 6 and charge it. Not sure whether excessive power supple to Apple Watch is bad or okay.

NO you can not place you Apple Watch on the MagSafe charger base and have it charge your watch, you can use the wall plug that the MagSafe charger base cable plugs into with an Apple Watch Charging cable and it will not over charge your watch.
