Email passwords
Every day I have to enter the password for my email account. Why?
iPhone 7, iOS 14
Have you tried deleting the email account and adding it back again? Sometimes, that’s easier than trying to troubleshoot step by step.

Thanks for your reply but my issue is different to yours because the password has to be entered in settings before I can get any new emails. Just don’t understand why the information isn’t being retained.

Does it actually disappear from the settings of the email account? I get those messages from time to time and Almost never have to enter the password. I simply cancel them and move on without issue.
However, have you checked to see if you can get email on your email providers server without issue?
