iPhone 12 Pro Notifications with no sound or alert of any kind

Nope. No iMessage notifications even with the watch off. Problem came with 14.2. Need fix!

I do not use an Apple Watch! Still no notifications after checking all settings. Bluetooth on or off!

My 11 pro max would randomly not notify me of any text messages sms or mms. Unless I turned the Bluetooth off. Know my 12 pro is doing the same thing even with the Bluetooth off.

Well what about the people that don't have a watch? It's a Software issue, two lengthy conversations I've had with Tech Support and they have both admitted to engineers working on the issue.

I don’t have an Apple Watch. I have a 12Pro and it does not notify either when the Bluetooth is on. It sucks. I am missing important texts.

They don’t seem to know about this problem. We need to all call them to get this fixed!

What I found was helpful, I put the message icon on my watch at the 6 o’clock position and just glancing at my watch I can tell if I have messages.

Somehow my notifications for messages got turned off. I did not change it. Let’s hope that fixed my issue.

Believe it or not there is a tactile switch above the volume button that moves side to side that disables your sound

Absolutely having the same issue for text notifications. Other notifications seem to be fine. This is a very painful bug. I’m missing so many important work and personal text message notifications.

Apple chat support said engineers are aware. I have a call with Apple support tomorrow night. This needs to be addressed immediately. I have also submitted feedback on this issue. I know this is Thanksgiving week but Apple needs to fix this.

I have tried everything and nothing has worked. A reboot seems to fix for a short time but then it returns. If I’m using the phone I get notifications, seems to happen when phone is locked/screen off. Not 100% sure on that though. Also not getting the notifications on the AW either.

I spent an hour on the phone with Apple tech support going over settings. He made some inquires when we could not resolve it and it turns out it is a known new issue which the engineers are working to solve. look for an update soon.

This did not fix my issue. Notifications were on and all sounds are maxed out and still no sounds while locked. I do have watch connected and do not want to turn off Bluetooth! Has a fix been determined yet?

It seems that every year, the bugs become worse and worse with Apple. I remember the days of pretty much flawless launches for products and software from Apple! Seems those days died with Steve Jobs!

I’m having exactly the same issues. Notification sounds only happen every so often. Then I go to settings and fiddle with the tones and volumes. Seems fine. It works for about half an hour and then the sounds stop working. I’m suddenly not getting text messages or WhatsApp notification sounds again. Infuriating.
