Maybe I'm not that alert but I only noticed this cut off icon when OS BS is in use.
Yes, it does snap back to what I'd call its normal shape and size when the Export is completed.

I used to get that with 10.4.9 and Big Sur but now 10.5 shows a normal icon again - It was like the box was not wide enough to show the circle graphic
