App not showing up anywhere on the home screen

I have What's App somewhere on my phone but it's not showing up in any folders or subfolders on my phone. I would like to delete and reinstall it. I deleted the app. But now when I go to the App store to reinstall it, it says I already have it on my phone! This is driving me bonkers.

I'm rearranging all my folders so they make sense to me, to put all the messenger apps I use for business in 1 folder. Can anyone assist?

On your devices Home Screen, swipe to the last page of apps, then swipe again. you should see a search bar with the words "App Library" on it. and folders of apps below it. find the app you wish to delete in the list, then press and hold on the icon. but do not stop holding your finger on the icon until it moves itself to the home screen. now click the - symbol on the app icon, and press "Delete App"

if you swiped all the way left, the last page should show some presorted categories of apps. Up top there will be a search field that says 'App Library'

If you just press and hold on an icon in this area, yes you probably get the menu pop up with Share/Delete

you should still be able to drag when you do this.. but it's not as easy as the other method, which is why I suggest that.

So while you're on the App Library screen, swipe downward on the screen and it should change to an alphabetical list of all your apps.

You can scroll or type in the name of the app

once the app is located, in this view tap/holding on the app should not produce a menu.. it should just select/highlight the app, at which time you can drag
