Sorting Emails in my Inbox with Big Sur.

I cannot find the option to sort my emails by Date, From, Subject etc. Its something I really need to be able to do. There is no option in the filter either. Can anyone provide some assistance with this?

Thank you,

You can click View on top menu bar then Sort By. Not as convenient as the prior means. This works when not in column display mode.

Unfortunately the options to easily sort your inbox has now been relegated to the View|Sort By menu option. If you sort by Column view you can easily do so, but it would be nice if they added back the ability to sort while in the default view.

Conversely, they could add the ability to right click on the filter button and select the different options... unread/date/from/attachment/etc., etc...

I added 3 shortcuts in mail Control-Option-Command-D for sort by date, ...-T for sort by To, and ...-F for sort by from. These didn't have any conflict with what I was running at the time. They worked in mail. Of course you have to be in right context to use To or From. For example, sorting by To in inbox didn't change my list.
