iphone 12 pro max camera portrait mode shutter sound very loud

Just get my iPhone 12 pro max yesterday and found that no matter how I reduced the sound level, camera portrait mode shutter sound is extremely loud (other camera mode shutter sounds are normal), may I know how to turn down/ off the sound ?

I have the exact same problem with my 12 pro max, in normal camera mode it sounds normal but in portrait mode it's very loud. Hope this will be fixed. There's no reason portrait mode has to be so loud.

Yes, I have the same problem on iphone 12 pro max. I really hope to fix it with the latest update.
