RE: MACOS Security Agent Requests Admin name and password upon boot

Issue:

Security Agent POP-Up upon MacAir 2015 Boot which does not accept Admin Name and Admin Password

Facts:

Big Sur installed yesterday
Pop Up security Agent requests admin name and password
Security Agent does NOT accept admin name and admin password
Message-Access to hard disk not allowed message after I cancel out of pop-up
Message-Changes to security not accepted.

Please advise solutions process

System startup utility not prompting for password - Macbook Pro 16 inch, Big Sur I'm attempting to experiment with running operating systems, and following the "Change External Boot settings" steps from About Startup Security Utility - Apple Support When I start "System startup utility", I see a window with the prompt "You will need to authenticate as administrator to change the boot security settings". When I click "Enter MacOS Password", nothing happens. There is nowhere for me to type my administrator password. How do I enter my administrator password to change boot settings? Device: 2019 Macbook Pro 16 inch (With T2 Security chip) OS: Big Sur 11.1

Admin PW & Touch ID Since installing Big Sur on my MacBook Air (13" 2018) i can use my login admin user name and PW & can sign into my computer. The same admin logo in PW will not allow me to unlock the security system lock in the bottom left corner in system Preferences. I only have one admin name & no guest. How can I find out if there is another in my system that will work or fins the related password. I have already reinstalled BigSur with no change. Also Touch ID is not working
