does anyone know if the mag safe belkin car vent mount will work with the new iphone 12 pro max with just a standard case or does it have to be a mag safe case. i dont want to buy the mount if i have to buy a mag safe case as well, and I don’t want to have to take the none mag safe case off everytime just to stick it to the car mount.

I quickly brought a cheap case before the phone arrived so at least I had it protected whilst I made my mind up lol! I like to change my cases a lot so it’s a lot of money for the one case just to use with the mount :(
And no it doesn’t charge the phone I’ve read up on it and there’s actually a groove on it at the back that keeps your wire neat and tidy (I’ve attached the pic) I think that’s a nice touch as I hate the wire hanging down untidy in the car!
I bought the MagSafe case just in CASE lol. Does this Belkin car mount charge the phone too??
