Yah this is very sad, I updated my MacMDM server to BIGSur just to find this out, and BETA of 5.11 seams nowhere near ..
Also lots of MDM functions are missing in Version 5.10 for example how to Give access to All Disk and such for programs like AV and VPNS, these options/Payloads are just missing.
I spoke with Apple Enterprise support who acknowledged that a Big Sur compatible version was not yet available and could not give an estimated release date. Their solution is to restore to Catalina.
I'm going to buy a new m1 mac mini as a mdm server, this is very helpful to me.
Can not use macOS server on Big Sur yet, I have to wait.
Found this out too after the purchase. I'm awaiting a new M1 Mac Mini and wanted to setup MDM and other services for all my Macs and iOS devices.
Running my MDM with 100+ devices and Big Sur has shut me down. Update please? When?
When will macOS server begin working on Big Sur?
so ? just waiting ?
I restored back to former OS.
today, version 5.11 was released.
On my Big Sur, it runs.
You are absolutely right ogawa9! Need to uninstall the previous version first. Installing over the old does not work...
