iPhone 11Pro Max

Answer the phone and cannot hear anything w/o turning the phone to speaker mode or have earplug in. I’ve tried the sound and haptics volume but no change. Can anyone help. Thanks

If you only hear through speaker phone mode --> If your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode - Apple Support
