Apple desktop photos from prior versions of MacOS

Are Apple's desktop photos from prior versions of MacOS available? If so, where? I want to continue to use Apple's professional photos from Yosemite as desktop wallpaper in OS updates.

FredOK, You are in luck. There is a website where a Mac Tech podcaster has saved 5K versions of all the default OS wallpapers from OS X 10.0 and on. Link below.

I hope this helps.

Hello FredOK,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We understand wanting to be able to use previous versions of an app. We'll explain.

Previous version of iPhoto or Photos would not be on the App Store, but you can still edit photos using the Photos app or another third-party photo editing app to use as desktop wallpaper:

Have a great day.
