I chose to transfer data to 12 Pro Max from iphone instead of cloud. How do I transfer cloud now after finished?

I mistakenly transferred data to the iphone 12 pro max from my iphone xs max when prompted. I actually wanted to transfer from my cloud Can I go back and get icloud to transfer?

You mean restore from an iCloud backup? Reset it to factory settings in Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings, then select iCloud during setup.
