Can a do not disturbe block a specific contact calls and text ?

Please note that the feature DO NOT DISTURB does NOT block anything except the Notifications. For example, if you enable DO NOT DISTURB mode on your iPhone then everything that is sent to you (Emails, Texts, Phone calls etc) will come through EXCEPT you will not be notified with Audio that information has arrived until you turn that feature OFF. You can, at any time, visually check your iPhone and all the visual (not audible) notifications will be there.
