Green dots appearing in pictures taken by rear camera in low light mode, model 12 pro

Update: met with Genius and they replaced the phone. They ran a diagnostic and everything checked out. There was information that may suggest the LiDAR system is faulty which is causing the green dots from appearing. Since the phone is so new, there are no replacement parts yet so they just replaced with a new phone.

I have the exact same issue. I read about this happening with the 11 pro and some one said it could be a sensor issue. I talked with tech support and they suggested I make an appoint with the Genius Bar. I'm going in this Sunday and will let you know what they say.
