Time Capsule and Big Sur Not Working

I have a MacBook Air, just updated to Big Sur. Since that time, have been unable to backup to a TimeCapsule Disk (AirPort Extreme with USB Disk), with the console log listed below. Two other Catalina laptops continue to backup without issue. Have formatted the disk, and checked multiple times that the "ignore disk permissions" flag is set. Furthermore, can create folders and copy files to the networked disk from the Big Sur MacBook without issue. Thanks for any help.

Fixed it.

After searching the system log, appears that Sophos was blocking disk utility from setting attributes of a disk image on the networked volume. I had listed the network volume as an exception, but that still did not solve the problem. Had to completely uninstall Sophos.

You are asking about a new installation, not an existing set up. Totally different topic.

Please start a new post and include some specific details Things like.......

The make and model number of your wireless router.

Whether you will be using a Mac or an iPhone / iPad to set up the Time Capsule

Please remember that we cannot see your new network or know what you might be thinking, so we will only know as much as you can tell us.
