Logitech 920 Not Recognized After Big Sur Update

Hi All,

After updating to Big Sur my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) won't recognize my Logitech C920s webcam in any application. It is connected to the MBP by a Aukey CB-C71 5-port hub. It's possible the hub is an issue, but it is working to connect other peripherals (monitor, keyboard + microphone all work), but the webcam is not recognized.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

If you have already double-checked your video source in Facetime and Photobooth as the C920, then it is probably a good idea to purchase a USB-C male to USB3-A female adapter, and then by-pass that hub.

I just connected the Logitech C920 to my 2014 MacBook Air running the released Big Sur, and the camera worked just fine with FaceTime, and Photobooth. I have also observed that the use of a USB extender cable with this camera will cause the webcam to not work over that extension.
