My Windows PC can't read my external hard disk

Hello everyone. By the moment I connect my external hard disk to my MacBook Pro, It reads it without any problems, but when I try to connect it in a Windows PC, I can't open any folder. How is this even possible? I have made some researches on the internet and it could be related to Mac OS format language.

Waiting for an answer, Cordially,

Riccardo

It depends on the format of the drive. Windows can not read/write Mac formatted drives. Macs can not write Windows formatted drives. If you want to read/write external drive son both Mac and Windows format the drive ExFat.
