Family Sharing Verification

It appears that your wife has to verify her Apple ID whenever she wants to make a purchase in Family Sharing. You had this same problem once using Ask To Buy, but that issue's been resolved. We can understand how frustrating it could be to have to provide a verification code, and we're glad to help with this.

Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support -- On your iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing. Tap your name in Family Sharing, then tap your Account and enter your password on the next screen. Once you tap "Use This Account", you'll see a white screen, just keep backing out of this setting. Have your wife try making a purchase again to see if you're asking to verify the account.

Use your own Apple ID for Family Sharing - Apple Support -- If the issue remains, make sure that your wife is using her own Apple ID.

So I am having the same issue. I performed the fix suggested above and it did not change anything. This seemed to have started when I changed the Family share CC to my Apple card (Not entirely sure on that). Its very annoying that every time she wants to purchase a book she has to get a verification code from me. In the past from time to time she would be asked for a CVV for the family share card but never a verification code and definitely every single time... Is there something that I can change in settings to stop this?

I have the same issue but I’m using a credit card, not Apple Card for family sharing payments. SUPER annoying.
