Does Keynote need Adobe Features

There are a lot of Adobe bcmaps in my Keynote Folder. Does Keynote need these to function?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.0

BCMaps files are created when certain Type 1 fonts (usually Asian style fonts) are used.

Type 1 fonts are an outdated file type in Mac systems, try using True Type or Open Type fonts instead.

Thanks. I deleted the fonts that had Adobe in the name. Everything seems to be working OK without them.

Delete the fonts if they are Type 1, if they are not, that is a different issue.

Thank you for your response. I use the fonts that came with my Mac. I assume it's OK to remove the Adobe fonts.
