Apple is promoting 15W Charging Speeds with the MagSafe using the 18-20 W Apple Type C AC Charger. My question is would you also get 15W charging using the same AC Charger with a PD lightning to Type C Cable. If Not Why???? Thanks.
It will charge faster with a wired connection, and not get so hot.
I did tests from the Answer that was given to my question. I now have an iPhone 12 Mini and I used a Type-C 18W PD AC Charger with a PD Lightning to Type-C Cable and my results were in 22 Minutes the iPhone reached 50% Charge and 58% in 30 Minutes and 1hr and 10 minutes to reach 95%. So it is much faster than the stats that Apple states for the MagSafe Charger and the temperature while charging with a Cable was just a bit warm not hot like you get from Qi Charging.
