Fix for dual sim incompatibility with 5G

when will apple fix the dual sim incompatibility with 5G? i have just received my iphone pro max and suscribed to a 5G expensive plan but i can t use it because of my two sim cards (only one is selected for roaming, and it s the one with the 5G plan)

is it just a software issue that can be solved with a patch OR it s not going to be fixed with this device. need to know to cancel or not my 5G plan.

It’s not known when but articles all over the web say there is supposed to be an update coming to address 5G for dual sim use. If you need it immediately then there’s no way to know when it will happen

It is was well known that 5G on the iPhone would only work with one SIM card at release.

Software update is coming, no known ETA on that update.

While using two lines in Dual SIM mode, 5G data isn't supported on either line and will fall back to 4G LTE. In China mainland, 5G data is supported while using two active lines in Dual SIM mode on the line that's using cellular data. In China mainland, while using Dual SIM with 5G, 5G Standalone isn't available.
