iPhone 12 Mini overheating

My new 2 day old iPhone 12 mini was on hotspot whilst on a Qi charger when it overheated and switched off with the red thermometer sign.

Please advice a fix? Thanks

Hotspot / overheating I have an iPhone 12 mini. I’ve never had to use it as a hot spot before but a tree fell on my garage and took out my power and internet. Power got restored a lot faster than internet. I work from home so… hot spot. After a little while maybe half an hour the phone got so hot it shut off. It was too hot to hold - I was having to juggle it while I ran downstairs to throw it in the freezer. This can’t be normal. It legit could have started a fire or the battery could have exploded. Is there a known issue? Definitely not safe.

New Iphone 11 become heat when in off mode lately my iphone often gets hot after on personal hotspot and it becomes quit high when the phone is off.

iPhone overheating when connect to the wi-fi connection. When connecting to the wi-fi or take a call my phone is overheating and automatically gives an alert. Not the battery, around the area nearby the camera. For normal mobile data (use any social media or emails), no problem happens..🤦🏻🤦🏻 Moreover can't take a WhatsApp call using mobile data. Then I can't use the phone. The software version is 14.7.1.
