QuickTime Autoplay

To free up disk space, I want to stop using iTunes to play my MP3 songs.

I would use QuickTime but when I open a file it doesn't auto play - I have to press play.

Am I right in saying this is the case with Mojave?

Are there any other MP3 players which will simply play my music without adding to a library?

Hey _iShaun,

If we understand correctly, you need to free up some disk space by not using iTunes. There are a few ways to save space without needing to use or find different apps to play songs. The second article explains how you can play a file using QuickTime Player.
