I have bought two HomePod mini to set them as default audio output of the AppleTV, but it is only possible to do so with original HomePod. Do you plan to update this so that the minis can be used?

I found a temp workaround that’s working for me. If open my music app on my phone I can select the TV, and all my homepods together. It links them all. Then as soon as I play something from my Apple TV it takes them all over together, so I don’t have to keep selecting them when I switch from Netflix, Hulu, etc.

i have homepod mini and appletv 4k both 14.2 and theres no way i can set my output sound to homepod mini sound works within apps like youtube that with control center allow airplay but when I am gaming theres no sound on homepod mini I have to switch to tv speakers
