Touch id not unlocking - MacBook Pro 2019 after upgrade to BigSur

After upgrading my MacBook Pro 2019 to BigSur, the screen cannot be unlocked with the touch id.

It only recognizes touch id after back from shutdown.

This feature worked ok with Catalina.

I followed the indications to reset the Mac's SMC, but it only worked once. After locking again the screen I have to unlock using the password.

I would remove all finger prints and then add them back in.
