how do i get it to stop saying thewords as I’m typing tying as im typing

Go to Settings->Accessibility->Spoken Content->Typing Feedback->Speak Words and turn if off.

You can also invoke Siri and say “Turn off voiceover"

Switch voice control off under Settings -> Accessibility -> Voice Control.

if you want to use voice control and need to switch it on/off more easily then you can add a Voice Control shortcut to the control centre at Settings -> Accessibility ->Accessibility Shortcut and enable it at Settings -> Control Centre -> Accessibility Shortcuts.

Just an FYI, this isn't a chat service... this is a USER to USER forum. We are all Apple product users just like yourself.

I'm guessing you have external sound on like a radio and when voice control is enabled the spoken words are appearing as you are trying to type on the keyboard.
