problema con la stampante Epson WF-2510

Avevo lo stesso problema con Epson WF2520, risolto scaricando e installando il driver dedicato per Mac OS Big Sur dal sito Epson (https://www.epson.eu/support?productID=11996&language=it&os=38#drivers_and_manuals). Ora la stampante funziona.

Printer Driver: Please use v10.85 or later.

Apple Image Capture Application (ICA): Yes. Click here for support on using Image Capture with your scanner."

A v10.85 driver cannot (yet) be found on the SX200 support page. So, you may want to experiment with something similar to the method used by alex2789 above, with a link provided by luigi7119. This may or may not work with your printer.

The printer driver v10.85 is the key. Since the support page for the Epson Stylus DX8400 does not appear to include this driver, you may want to try what others have done: Check whether you can locate a Printer Driver v10.85 elsewhere (for another model, with Big Sur cosen as the operating system on that printer's support page). You could perhaps begin with the link provided by luigi7119 on page 1.

EDIT: Just noticed that you had already done exactly that, and that the printer is working. Very good!

Anch'io ho avuto ed ho tutt'ora lo stesso problema con la Epson WF 2510 dopo l'aggiornamento a Big Sur. Hai risolto in qualche modo? Ricevuta qualche risposta?

The problem is that the 10.85 driver cannot be found (at least not now) on the Stylus S20 support page. However, the reported solution has in other cases been to look for another printer model (similar or not), and check whether that macOS 11 Big Sur download contains a version 10.85 driver. May take some time, but could perhaps be worth testing with the S20 as well. For a comparison, see, for example, the link provided by luigi7119 for the WorkForce WF-2510WF; 10.85 is mentioned under Driver. Apparently there are different downloads/sizes, so you may have to look for or try several. It may or may not work.

Scusate io ho una Epson sx200 che con catalina funzionava a meraviglia, adesso con big Sur è morta!!!

Il supporto dice non può aiutarmi in quanto non sono più coperto, sapreste aiutarmi voi?

stesso problema.. ma anche scaricando il driver e aggiornando il firmware non ho risolto... la stampa viene inviata alla stampante... ma rimane nello stato " SENDING DATA TO PRINTER".

È un problema comune per tutti i possessori di stampanti Epson, ho contattato il supporto e mi hanno detto che finora non hanno rilasciato driver compatibili col sistema Big Sur e di usare nel frattempo driver generici del Mac eventualmente contattando il supporto tecnico dell’ Apple

I got the same problem with XP 235. If you look for the drivers XP 235 in EPSON support you don't find any for Big Sur.

The solution is just to download the driver version 10.85 from another model (i.e. WF 2510).

When you install the driver set it will update also XP 235 or other Epson printers that are, anyway, declared as compatible at https://www.epson.eu/viewcon/corporatesite/kb/index/1018

Of course, take all the cautions. With me it worked out.

i have the same printer RX560 .can you send the driver for big sur info as you have been able to get it to work on your 560

Go to the Epson website and click on Support, than click on Product Setup and Driver, enter the product name in the text window (WF-2510) and click on the product that appears. On the right choose the operating system (Mac OS 11 Big Sur).

A new page will open telling you the driver (Driver 10.85 17 November 2020 77,10 MB),click on driver and than click on download.

Remember after downloading it to do the setup
