Can one migrate from 2016 MacBook Pro to Apple Silicon MacBook Air using thunderbolt-3 data cable (sans WiFi)?

Is it possible — and if so HOW — to migrate everything from my old 2016 MacBook Pro to my new Apple silicon MacBook Air using a Thunderbolt 3 data cable ONLY? The usual "migration via WiFi" path would appear to be ridiculously slow, ergo I will prefer to avoid it if at all possible.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.0
