iPad fails to Restore (14) 065B.000E
Is there a utility or anything that can help an iPad to restore when it fails to do so using DFU and Apple Configurator 2 on Mac running BIG SUR with the latest software updates?
iPad (6th gen) WiFi
Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!

Hi ccahillofm,
Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. It looks like you're seeing an error 14 when you try restoring your iPad, and we'll be glad to see how we can help!
You mentioned using Apple Configurator 2. To verify, is this a business/education-managed device?
This resource, titled iOS update and restore errors, has some good steps that might help with general error 14 messages:
"Check your USB connections
If you see error 4005, 4013, or 4014, use these steps.
If you see one of the errors below, check your USB connection, USB cable, USB port, or computer:
Here's what to check. Try again after each step:
If you still see an error, contact Apple Support."
We hope that helps!
Take care.

same issue, I wanted to update from 13.1, it didnt have enough space and was nearly full, so i deleted a game that was taking 4.5gb, but it was still not working so i force rebooted it and it started having the apple logo rebooting loop. So i connected it to itunes and that said the phone needed to be updated so i let it update, it went about 25% and then gave this error. I then tried to update using on a brand new MacBook pro, this time it went to 50% but then the same error.
I have tried multiple times, on windows itunes it goes to 25%, on Mac it goes to 50%. I didnt have a backup and my photos werent backed up to cloud.
reading on the web it seems this is a common known error that the iphone fails when the storage is full, the only solution i can think of to fix or get the photos back would be to have a smaller ios which can fit in the space of the one that is on the phone..
I wish Apple would make a recovery type of ios which only gives access to the storage so we can at least get the photos before doing a factory reset restore and get back to the latest ios.
If I lose all the photos and videos of my child's first Christmas b/c of updating to Big Sur I'm going to be very upset. I just don't understand how Apple consistently has huge bugs with they latest and greatest software releases over the years.
This just happened to me as well. My iPad Pro 12.9 (2017) never updated automatically, I always had to do by hand and it would always fail numerous times before succeeding. I hardly used it so it didn't matter, but yesterday I needed to update it to the latest iOS to install a new Canon camera app. My iPad had automatic updates on yet it only had version 12.3 as I had not updated it in 1.5 years. So I tried 20 times to update via wifi with no luck. It always used to update after a few tries, but not now. So I called apple support and they had me update my mac to Big Sur then use the usb to lightning cable update via the Finder window. My iPad got 3/4 the way then the update failed, this happened twice, then restore failed 3 times, always with this error: (14) 065B.000E. I bought it from Apple direct for £1000 iPad with 256GB but it's currently bricked, hoping for a solution as it worked a few hours ago. Now it won't turn on and does not respond to initiating recovery mode. Btw, I tried with two different cables and two different ports, same issue.
Hi, I’m still exploring how to make the complaint. But are you saying your iPhone 12 is bricked and non functional? That should still be Apple warranty or within their 2 year version of U.K. consumer law warranty.
iphone går inte att uppdatera. Okänt fel 14 065B.00E.
Vad skall jag göra?
