Playback controls, please help

Has anyone else seen playback controls on an iPhone lock screen that slide out from the side of the screen? It looks like a '<' sign which slides out to reveal an index finger, rewind, play/pause, forward, and speed like 2x, 1/2x etc. My mum (5000 Miles away rn) who's using an iPhone 6s got these ever since she started using a Bluetooth headset. Trying to figure out what it is and how to toggle it off. Thanks!

Hi!

Thanks for the reply.

I realised a few days later that this wasn't due to the Bluetooth headset, it was due to my mum accidentally enabling on screen voice-over from the accessibility settings.

Is sorted now. 😄

Hello farazmir,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that additional playback controls have appeared when using a Bluetooth headset. These controls may be part of how the Bluetooth headphones can be controlled. Check with the headphone manufacturer and see if it is a feature of their product. If so, they will be able to tell you if the feature can be disabled.

Best Regards.
