How to authenticate to wifi with certificate?

Hi,

I have a wifi-network that uses certificates to authenticate clients. I have installed a certificate from our internal CA on a Mac, but how can I create a connection to WiFi that uses the certificate to authenticate? I do not have a MDM-system, I have to do this directly on the Mac.

Hello Thor-Egil,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you have a Wi-Fi network that uses certificates to authenticate clients. You have a certificate installed, but now need to create a connection to Wi-Fi using that certificate. We would recommend taking a look at the following support article to connect to an 802.1X network:

Best regards.
