Google and Fire Fox not working on Big Sur, though a reboot fixes it for awhile

It seems every few reboots since I put Big Sur on my Mac mini lat 2014. It asks to confirm my gmail password, and when I click on open the website it fails, and can't find google. I went to Google Chrome, and Chrome won't browse the internet. I get this message This site can’t be reached

I also tried Firefox and the same issue, so Safari works, but not the others, so will see about a reboot.

www.cbc.ca refused to connect.Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

so I am wondering if Big Sur is blocking the google domain for some reason?

FWIW, I have no problem connecting to the site with either Chrome or Firefox. I don't know what your issue may be, sorry.

I did reboot and it works now, it seems every reboot or so only Safari works. I will keep track to see if I can narrow it down. Only started happening when Big Sur was installed, so will see if it happens after the 11.1 update is released.

I rarely reboot so maybe if I did it enough I would see the problem. See what BS 11.1 brings.
