Do you think you have a counterfeit computer? Is the computer having issues?

If you are having technical issues and add some details for us, it is possible we can find that it has nothing to do with thr model number at all.

What you posted in a "order number" and there are dozens for each models depending on how it is configured and to what part of the world it was shipped. Orider numbers starting with MVV appear to be only associated with 2019 16-inch MacBook Pros.

Try Using the Serial Number to Find Out:

Perform the following, in the order provided.

I. Obtain the Device Info:

  1. Click: Apple Menu
  2. Select: About this Mac
  3. View: the second listed item-down

II. Obtain the Serial Number:

Click: Apple Menu

Select: About this Mac

View: the last listed item (the Serial Number).

III. Then, Enter your Serial Number Here:

  1. Go Here: Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
  2. Enter: your Serial Number
  3. Enter: the provided code (used for safety}
  4. Click: Continue button

IV. Verify the Results:

Is it the same item as in step one? If so, I'd be more confident in it being an official device.
