Can't Download Big Sur -update not found

I have a late model 2013 iMac that Apple lists as being supported for Big Sur. (Model Identifier: iMac14,2) quad core, 32 GB memory and 235 GB available space on my 1 TB drive (flash storage)

However, when I attempt to download it from the App Store or system prefs, I receive the message "Update not found. the requested version of macOS is not available."

Nothing on the internet that applies to the released version (some similar issues reported when it was in beta)

Any help is appreciated.

Where do you see an Apple list with a 2013 iMac? Both of the following indicate 2014 and later for iMac:

and

I must have misread that page. I was looking at the history of the imac models and not the supported ones. Will apple ultimately support the 2013 model I have? It's still beefy by today's standards.

I would be extremely surprised; I can't recall a previous case where they ever add older models after initially excluding them.

Thanks much. That kind of sucks given this box runs circles around my newer mac air. Going to run it into the ground on catalina rather than let apple extort me for a premature hardware purchase.
