security vulnerability using zoom on MacBook Air , intercepted sms.

has anyone heard of a security vulnerability whilst using Zoom on a MacBook Air? My wife sent me an SMS text on her iPhone XR connected to her MacBook Air, during a zoom call on her MacBook, but the SMS was intercepted by a third party who then rang her phone back directly. She hung up and told me straightaway and I told her to block the caller.

the zoom call was with a charity and probably not encrypted. I’m just really surprised that Zoom still haven’t sorted their sh.. stuff out.
