Deleting Inactive AppleID Subscriptions

I want to delete an inactive subscription on my iPhone Apple ID that I cancelled in August. It is indeed inactive, but whenever I try to remove my payment info from Apple ID, it says that it can’t be removed because I have at least one active subscription on my account—which is false. How do I fix this?

To clarify, my goal isn't to delete past subscriptions/purchases. It's to fix the error of Apple saying that I have an active subscription and therefore cannot remove my credit card payment info from my Apple ID account. I buy a bit of extra iCloud storage every month, so maybe that's the active subscription Apple is referring to. But even if that was the case, it's not showing up under my active subscriptions.
