Apple Watch SE Function

I’m looking into the Apple Watch debating on whether or not I should purchase one for the holiday season and I’m wondering: Can the SE, or any Apple Watch, track my Pace while I run? For example, my garmin running watch allows me to set a pace, pause and resume my runs, and shows my pace and change in pace while I am running, can Apple Watch do the same?

Is there an app for how to use your Apple Watch 7? Is there an app for how to use your Apple Watch 7? It’s advertised as being able to count waves when surfing, analyze heart rates, etc but when I go to the App Store I get all sorts of off the wall apps. How do I keep track of sleep times during the week? And when do you recharge the watch if you want to keep track of? 24hrs of the day? Lots of questions but no instructions on how. I’m trying not to be old school on having paper instructions in 25 languages, but I’m setting here with a $400+ watch that my Fitbit would do easier.
