After I upgraded my iPhone SE (1st generation) to iOS 14.1, I keep loosing wifi and have to reboot the phone to get it back. Very annoying. Is there a cure or can I go back to iOS 13?

Try resetting your router. It is possible that the ability to refresh your lease on the network is not working correctly and the router needs to be reset. Unplug it from power for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and wait for it to complete booting up. Then test.
