Since upgrading my OS to Big Sur, when attempting to download photos from my Sony camera to iPhoto, I can only download one at a time. Before the upgrade, everything on the camera would download. How do we fix this

Hi - Try using the image capture app to download the photos to your hard drive, then import into photos.
Hit CMD-Space, and in the search bar that pops up, type "image". The image capture app should be the first hit.

So can you give me an example of an "image capture app" which I could try?
I believe that Tony meant the application named "Image Capture" that Apple ships with all recent version of the Mac operating system.
