Why do I need to verify purchases with a code for another adult?
My husband cannot purchase anything without it sending me a verification code. Can he put his card on his account so he doesn’t have to verify it with me?

If you have set up Family Sharing and you are the organizer, he can't add a credit card to his account.
He can buy/redeem iTunes Gift cards to the account. Charges will be deducted from the account balance before the organizer's credit card is charged.
