is there a time length limit to creating an iMovie?

Theoretically, the only limit is the storage space available. Be aware that because iMovie unpacks a movie for editing the project size can be much larger than the file size that was imported.

Others on this forum have reported that iMovie maxes out at 24 hours 59 minutes.
