App Store Asking Me to Change to Old Email Address

Im trying to manually update my apps but the App Store try’s to send me to my settings to enter my old email address from my old Apple ID. I haven’t used this email in years and my past two iPhones haven’t used this email address so I don’t know what’s happening. I have looked in my settings under my iCloud and my AppStore settings and my correct email address is listed so I’m unsure why my old email address is still popping up. I’m frustrated and I don’t know what to do. My iPhone is updated to the 14.2 version.

A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
