iPhone virus

I opened up a message in Facebook messenger on my phone and it was a video saying is this you? I tried playing the video and nothing happened and then all day I received messages from everyone on Facebook that I sent the same message to them and did I send it. I did not. Do I now have a virus on my phone and if so how do I check it and get rid of it?

Definitely not an iPhone virus. I would think it's more likely that your Facebook/Messenger account is compromised. Change your password

Your Facebook account was breached, which for Facebook is all too often common. It's not an iPhone virus and could have just as easily have happened on your computer.

You need to go to Facebook and change your Facebook password.
