I recently bought an iphone 12 pro max and compared it to my old iphone xs max. I found that the 12 pro max is less brighter than the xs max. At the same time, the xs max is better in emphasising the colour white and blue.
i am a little bit unhappy with the new purchased 12 pro max.

are the display settings are the same? (ie is one using True Tone and the other not? Settings > Display & Brightness)
according to a comparison, the iPhone 12 Pro Max should be brighter
