Hello Aradhya,
You first should ensure that you are following the process of Pressing and Holding keys accurately. Plug your iPhone into a computer and then PRESS & HOLD the SIDE key (Right Side) AND the VOLUME DOWN key (Left Side) together until you see the plug to the computer (Recovery Mode) screen on your iPhone.
Once you are in the Recovery Mode then you can follow instructions on your computer screen.
